A ten-session body contouring programme: what to really expect

How the protocol works session by session, how many centimetres are realistic, and what you have to bring to it for it to work.

A ten-session body contouring programme: what to really expect

"How soon will I see results?" is always the first question. And the honest answer isn't always the one people want to hear: it depends on you as much as on me.

So here's exactly how the protocol works, so you can decide with real information.

What a contouring programme is

Ten sessions designed to reduce weight, measurements and body volume, combining hands-on work with technology. It isn't liposuction without surgery, and it doesn't replace a nutritionist. It's a tool that mobilises localised fat, drains retained fluid and tones the tissue so your body can clear it.

The assessment: the most important session

Before the first session we record weight and measurements at several points, and we talk about your daily life: how much water you drink, how you sleep, whether you move, whether you're on any hormone treatment. I write it all down, because in session five we're going to compare.

This isn't paperwork. It's what separates a measurable result from a feeling. People badly underestimate how much their body changes when there's no written number to check against.

What happens in each session

Each session combines several techniques, depending on the area and how your body responds:

  • Manual lymphatic drainage to mobilise retained fluid.
  • Thermotherapy to prepare the tissue.
  • Ultrasound and vacuum therapy to work on localised fat.
  • Contouring massage and wood therapy to sculpt and boost circulation.
  • Non-invasive lipo laser and electrostimulation.
  • Cryotherapy to close.
  • Toning lipolytic mesotherapy when the case calls for it.

It runs 60 to 90 minutes. This is not a relaxing massage: wood therapy is felt, and that's normal. If at any point it genuinely hurts, tell me and we lower the intensity. Pain is not proof that something is working.

What's realistic

With two sessions a week, and doing your part:

  • Sessions 1 to 3: mostly deflation. Less heaviness, clothes sitting differently. Don't expect large centimetre changes yet.
  • Sessions 4 to 6: the first measurable centimetres appear and the skin starts to look firmer. This is when we compare against the initial assessment.
  • Sessions 7 to 10: consolidation. The contour defines and the result stabilises.

The ranges vary a great deal from person to person. I'd rather measure you and show you your own numbers than quote a brochure figure that means nothing.

What you have to bring

This is the uncomfortable part, and it's the part that decides the outcome:

  1. Water. The treatment mobilises; your body eliminates. Without enough water, half the session is wasted.
  2. Don't skip sessions. The protocol works by accumulation. A two-week gap halfway through sets you back several steps.
  3. Coherent eating. I won't ask you for an impossible diet. I'll give you realistic nutrition guidance, and that's enough if you hold it.
  4. Movement. A thirty-minute walk already changes the equation.

I bring the technique and the judgement. You bring the consistency. Without both halves this doesn't work, and I'd rather say so before you invest.

When we don't do it

We don't work with pregnancy, certain cases of varicose veins, pacemakers, metal implants in the area, active cancer, or recent surgery without the surgeon's clearance. That's why the assessment is mandatory: I'd rather tell you no than risk your health.

And afterwards

Once the ten sessions are done, we talk about maintenance: one session every three or four weeks is usually enough to hold what you've gained.

If you want to know whether you're a candidate, message me on WhatsApp and we'll book the assessment. I'll tell you frankly what you can expect in your case.
