Personal data protection policy

This policy explains how Estética Lucy Castillo collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who visit this website or request a service, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015 and related data protection rules.

1. Data controller

  • The controller of your data is Luz Nancy Tapia Castillo, holder of Colombian ID number 1143414924, trading as Estética Lucy Castillo.

2. Data we collect

  • Through the contact form we collect only: your name, email address, mobile number (optional), the service you're interested in and the message you write.
  • When you book through WhatsApp we collect your name, your mobile number and the date of your appointment.
  • In the treatment room, and only where a treatment requires it, we may record information about your health, allergies, medication, previous surgery and body measurements. This is sensitive data: you are not obliged to provide it, and we use it solely to assess whether a procedure is safe for you.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your enquiries and questions.
  • To book, confirm and follow up on your appointments.
  • To assess whether a treatment is appropriate and safe, and to keep a record of your sessions.
  • To send you information about offers and news, only if you have given us permission.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Your rights

  • To access, update and correct your personal data.
  • To request proof of the consent you gave us.
  • To be informed about how your data has been used.
  • To withdraw your consent or request deletion of your data, where no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
  • To file a complaint with the Colombian Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for breaches of data protection law.

5. How to exercise your rights

  • Write to luxos.esteticaspa@gmail.com or to WhatsApp +57 300 411 8030, stating your name, your request and a contact detail.
  • We answer queries within a maximum of ten (10) business days and complaints within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, as required by Law 1581 of 2012.

6. Retention and security

  • We keep your data for as long as our relationship lasts and for any period required by applicable legal obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
  • We apply reasonable measures to protect your information. Messages sent through the form are delivered by email to the studio's address and are not stored in any public database.

7. Third parties involved

  • Form messages are delivered through a transactional email provider. This site uses no advertising cookies and no profiling tools.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

8. Changes to this policy

  • We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or to the law. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
